Everything was great, so were amazing views over the Mississippi River at sunset. Location: the hotel was really close to the visitor center which has a walking path that a motivated tourist can take down to the area called '' under the hill '', all the attractions, and a casino at the base of the bluff. It also was down the river.

The facility was very nice, as well as clean. The people working there were friendly. Very easy access.
Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off around 3:00 in the morning. I called the office and they told me it was a malfunction. Apparently someone had disconnected a fire alarm, according to the manager. My wife and I did not go back to sleep after the alarm. We lost a child in a fire 23 years ago and we are still traumatized today. At check-out, the manager gave another couple a 50% credit for their room on their credit card, but told us we would have to contact the agency we booked our room through, since we booked online a couple weeks before. I thought this was incredibly insensitive of the manager, and obviously was intended to reduce the chance of us pursuing the credit.

I chose the Hampton Inn in Natchez because the location is great for exploring nearby attractions. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice view of the river. The breakfast options were plentiful, with warm croissants that were a highlight of my mornings. The staff at the front desk were friendly and offered helpful tourist advice. I faced issues with the keycards. They didn't work on the first attempt, several trips to the front desk. Some areas of the hotel appeared under-maintained, with an overall feeling of wear. The wifi connection dropped often. Despite the positives, cleanliness in some common areas was subpar, which affected my overall comfort . I'd recommend for a short trip, but be prepared for a few inconveniences.

Oh, the croissants at breakfast were fresh outta the oven, divine! Plus, we stumbled upon Jugheads Fish Fry nearby-who knew fried catfish could be that good? What a treasure! And let's not forget the sweet, sweet service from the breakfast crew.
Now, I booked this joint expecting a pool, but here's the kicker-there's no pool! It wasn't the chill getaway I hoped for.

Comfortable rooms, needs dining improvement
The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The breakfast experience fell short with a lack of food options and slow replenishment. I recommend visiting local eateries if you're in a hurry.

Just a fine choice for a brief visit in Natchez with good price-quality ratio. The card opener on the door worked perfectly every time without hassle. Check the cleanliness of the room carefully when you arrive.
